Toyota Truly Cares for Customers, Extending Ever-Better Customer Services by Taking Precautionary Measures to Help Contain the Spread of COVID-19
Amidst the COVID-19 virus outbreak, Toyota Motor Thailand have been aware of the importance of good hygiene and are prioritizing the confidence of our customers by taking precautionary measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19 at all 471 countrywide Toyota showrooms stores and service centers.
Mr. Surasak Suthongwan, Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Thailand stated that “In order to lessen concerns over the outbreak while helping increase the confidence of our customers amidst the virus outbreak, we have taken precautionary measures for those who work at all of Toyota dealership premises to follow strictly. The measures leverage an emphasis on public health at all touch points in all Toyota showrooms stores and service centers. In addition, we has emphasized on our dealer staff to adopt the procedure for utilizing chemical sterilization with vehicles that receive repair or maintenance services at no cost to mitigate the risk of the spread of virus. The service covers all car brands that are interested by making an appointment in advance with a Toyota Service Center near home”
Our working and service providing procedures amidst the virus outbreak to provide the procedure for utilizing chemical sterilization with vehicles that receive repair or maintenance services at no cost are as follows;
1. Make a clear understanding with customers and maximize their convenience by clearly inform them of our preventive measures to screen customers before receiving services and to sanitize Toyota service centers when they make an appointment via our call center.
2. When a customer is present to receive the services, they will be initially screened by being measured the body temperature.
3. Our staff will conduct primary sanitization processes for the vehicle.
4. After the repair or maintenance services, the procedure for thoroughly utilizing chemical sterilization with vehicles will be adopted before vehicle delivery to customers.

Furthermore, alcohol gel sanitizers are provided in several points of our showrooms. We have also established the procedure for utilizing chemical sterilization that is guaranteed to be safe to vehicle interiors and users, with display cars and new vehicles before the delivery to ensure that our vehicles are free from contamination caused by viruses. On an hour basis, tables, chairs, floor, and all equipment in the showroom are sanitized by our staff. All employees who have close contact with customers are required to wear a medical mask at all working operation time. Besides, those who are interested in test driving of new cars can be assured by our procedure of vehicle sanitization especially at the points where are frequently touched including steering wheel, gearbox, console, safety belt, and door handle, both before and after the test driving.
